On Saturday 12/9/2017 @ 0601 Wicomico Central alerted station's 5 (Hebron), 16 (Salisbury) and 12 (Westside) for a reported building fire @ 6499 Mary Jane Dr. Engine 507 arrived to find fire through the roof of a 2 story detached garage with an apartment on the second floor and 517 (Beach) established the Command. E/T 1-1 arrived first and attempted an interior attack but could not gain access due to a large amount of misc. items on the 1st floor. Operations then switched to a defensive attack and a total of 5- 1 3/4 lines were placed in service as well as Ladder-5 flowing water from overhead. Command requested 2 additional Tankers and 1 Engine crew for manpower. This incident was placed under control @ 0702 and terminated @ 0933 Station 5 units on scene: Engine-507, Engine Tanker-5, Ladder-5, PM A-5 and Traffic Control-5
