On Friday, March 23, 2018 @ 0725 Wicomico Central alerted Station's 12 (Westside), 5 (Hebron) and 9 (Mardela) for a reported house fire @ 20714 Nanticoke Rd. Station 12 units arrived on the scene to find a 2 1/2 story, balloon frame house with smoke showing from all sides. Station 12's crew quickly advanced a 1 3/4 handline through the door on the Delta side to extinguish the fire. Once the fire was knocked they were able to determine the fire had already advanced into the walls and first floor ceiling. Engine Tanker 5 then arrived and crew assisted with interior operations. Command had to request additional units to assist with getting the fire under control. This incident was placed under control @ 1033 and Station 5 units were released @ 1318 Departments involved with this incident: 12 (Westside), 5 (Hebron), 9 (Mardela), 16 (Salisbury), 74 (Delmar), 14 (Sharptown) and 81 (Laurel) had stand by @ Sta 5
