On Thursday June 26, 2014 @ 20:46 hours the Hebron VFD was dispatched to a reported vehicle fire. Due to our annual Firemans Carnival being in progress members of the Hurlock VFD were on fire stand-by at Station 5 and responded in Engine 6-2. Prior to arrival Central advised they were recieving multiple reports of a working fire.
On location crews found a well involved vehicle fire on the shoulder of the roadway. Crews quickly pulled a 150' 1 3/4" line and extinguished to vehicle without incident.
