On Saturday 2/20/2016 @ 0138 Wicomico Central alerted Station 5 for a reported vehicle fire at the intersection of Nanticoke Rd and N Upper Ferry Rd. Engine-507 arrived on the scene with a pick-up truck well involved, 516 (Phippin) established Nanticoke Rd command and the crew pulled a 100' 1 3/4" line from the front bumper to extinguish the fire. Command requested MSP to the scene due to the vehicle being in motion at time of ignition.
The incident was placed under control @ 0158 and terminated @ 0223.
Units on scene: Engine-507, PM-B-5 and MSP.
