Vacant Chicken House Fire @ 25839 Deerfield Rd

On Saturday, March 31, 2018 @ 1129 Wicomico Central alerted Stations 5 (Hebron), 9 (Mardela) and 14 (Sharptown) for a reported Structure Fire in the area of Porter Mill Rd and Deerfield Rd. Car-5 arrived on location @ 25839 Deerfield Rd with a fully involved vacant chicken house fire, 515 (Beach) established Deerfield Command and requested additional tankers from Stations 74 (Delmar) and 12 (Westside). E/T-5 arrived and crew deployed a 1 3/4 hand line and protected the adjacent chicken house.
This incident was placed under control @ 1155 and terminated @ 1349.
