On Thursday July 21, members of the Hebron, Mardela Springs and Sharptown Fire Departments conducted a joint training on Hebron’s newly acquired grain bin rescue kit. The kit was one of seventy-five given out through Nationwide Insurance and the National Education Center for Agricultural Safety, in the United States, after being nominated by local farmer, Geno Lowe of Rosewood Farms. Mr. Dan Neenan with the NECAS delivered an hour classroom portion, then the members conducted hands on training with the kit. The department wishes to thank Geno for his nomination, and for allowing our members to use his shop for the training due to inclement weather.
