On Tuesday, 1/26/2016 @ 1148 Wicomico Central alerted station's 9 (Mardela), 5 (Hebron), 12 (Westside) and 14 (Sharptown) for a reported chicken house fire @ 24071 E. Hurley's Neck Rd. Engine Tanker-904 arrived on scene @ 1201 with a working fire and pulled a 1 3/4 hand line. Engine Tanker-5 arrived and also pulled a 1 3/4 hand line. Crews made quick work of the fire and were able to contain ithe fire in the work shop area before it was able to extend into the actual chicken house.
Incident was placed under control @ 1213 and terminated @ 1335.
