On Wednesday, 2/3/2016 @ 0654 Wicomico Central alerted Station's 5 and 9 for a reported MVC with entrapment in the area of Ocean Gateway and Memory Gardens Ln. Paramedic B-5 was the first arriving unit on location and confirmed entrapment. Ladder-5 arrived on location and reported a single vehicle MVC, vehicle on it's side, with two (2) patients trapped inside the vehicle and two (2) patients that had self-extricated, 517 (Beach) established Ocean Gateway Command and the crew began stabilizing the vehicle with cribbing and struts. Further investigation revealed that in order to extricate both patients crews would have to lift the vehicle several inches off the ground. Command requested crews to utilize the high pressure air bags with a Hi-Lift Jack. Both patients were extricated quickly. All four patients were transported to PRMC by PM-A-5, PM-B-5 and PM-A-9.  

Command placed the incident under control @ 0725 and terminated @ 0745.
