Working Dwelling Fire @ 103 Grove St.

On Monday, January 18, 2016 @ 1938 Wicomico Central alerted Station's 5 (Hebron), 9 (Mardela) and 74 (Delmar) for a reported working structure fire @ 103 Grove St. Car-5 arrived on location with a 2 1/2 story single family dwelling, fire visible from sides C and D, 515 (Beach) established Grove St command. E-507 arrived on location with a secured water supply from a hydrant and positioned on the A/D corner. Crews from E-507 pulled 2 - 1 3/4 lines and made an aggressive attack on divisions 1 and 2. Ladder-5 arrived and positioned on the A/B corner and assisted with ventilation as well as checking for extension into the attic. All station 9 and 74 units staged and provided manpower to assist with extinguishment and extensive overhaul.

Station 14 (Sharptown) was requested for standby at Hebron but due to the extreme cold temperatures they were redirected to the scene and 12 (Westside) was then requested for the standby at Hebron.

Incident was placed under control @ 2020 and terminated @ 2258.
