On Friday, April 7, 2017 @ 2240 Wicomico Central alerted Station 5 for a reported vehicle fire with exposures to a house @ 7491 Fentral Ave. Engine 507 arrived to find a vehicle fully involved with siding melting from the house, Deputy 5 (Carbaugh) established Fentral Ave. Command and crew utilized a 150' 1 3/4" line to extinguish the fire and cool the exposure. 5 gallons of AFFF was needed to extinguish the fuel fire under the vehicle and a booster line was pulled to extinguish the natural cover fires around the vehicle. Engine Tanker-5 arrived on the scene and provided water to Engine-507 and the crew assisted in extinguishment. No extention was found inside the house but the heat did melt the blinds inside one of the bedrooms. 

Command was placed under control @ 2301 and terminated @ 2317.
