Airplane crash off Log Cabin Road

Rescue Box 5-10, aircraft emergency off Log Cabin Road. Shortly after take-off from Bennett Airport, a single engine bi-plane with two souls on-board made a hard landing in a wheat field. Paramedic B-5, Ladder 5, Engine 507 and Brush 5 responded from Hebron. Paramedic 16 and Rescue 1 responded from Salisbury. Salisbury's ambulance arrived first and reported one patient was out of the aircraft and one patient was unresponsive inside the aircraft. 

Paramedic B-5 transported a 24 y/o female patient Priority-1 by ground to Peninsula Regional. Aviation was requested for the other patient, a 70 y/o male. Paramedic 16 transferred that patient to Maryland State Police Helicopter Trooper 4. MSP Trooper 4 transported the male Priority-1 to Shock/Trauma in Baltimore. 

Maryland State Police and Wicomico County Sheriffs Office were also on-scene assisting.
