Wicomico Rescue Box 5-10, serious Motor Vehicle Collision. In the early morning hours of November 8, 2024, at 02:39, the Hebron Volunteer Fire Department & Salisbury Fire Department were alerted for an accident with rescue at the intersection of westbound Ocean Gateway & White Lowe Road. Crews arrived to find a 2-vehicle collision between a SUV and a tractor trailer. The driver of the SUV was rapidly extracted and transported to Tidal Health Peninsula Regional in Salisbury, Maryland for treatment. Route 50 westbound was completely shut down during the incident. The Wicomico County Sheriffs Department along with the Maryland State Police were on-scene investigating the cause of the accident.
